Or is he? The fact that there very few actual new maps is offset by a new set of errands and a different flow to the objectives themselves, with more cutscenes, dialogue and boss fights in the style of Apocalypse Weekend spaced between the freeroam segments. Guess maybe canon Dude isn't a mass murdering psychotic after all. Still, there's plenty to do and people to talk to- including people you probably killed in the base game. The Dude awakens from a years-long coma to find himself back in the **** known as Paradise, Arizona, now minus his dog Champ and with the town even worse for the wear thanks to his antics in Apocalypse Weekend (And with the events of Postal III retconned as a terrible coma dream). There are some better models and textures then others- the robot factory looks good enough that you might forget it was rendered in Unreal 2 Engine. For an expansion to a game that's over a decade old, Paradise Lost looks pretty good. The dual wield mechanic in particular is very enjoyable when coupled with the new lever-action shotgun. PL offers an entire new week of chores, new weapons, mechanics and redone versions of the base games levels. I enjoyed III, but PL makes it look like the incompenent bungle RWS themselves frequently insist it is. I enjoyed III, but PL makes it look like the There's no getting around it: Paradise Lost is absolutely an improvement over Postal III. There's no getting around it: Paradise Lost is absolutely an improvement over Postal III. In conclusion, this DLC is worth every penny, and like the first game, I really enjoyed it. Although annoying, it was playable and with enough saving it did not matter too much. The constant, constant crashing at random times. The only issue I had with this game was the same as the original game. Running with Scissors stands behind their games and no matter the current time, still works on their past jewels. The fact that they made this DLC in 2015 says something. Postal 2: Paradise lost features far more boss fights that makes the game a lot more fun than its predecessor. ![]() I especially love the “B!tch fight” music. The battle themes for the bosses gives you a rush of adrenaline and makes you completely focused on the fight. The music in this game is epic, just epic. The excessive use of zombies also makes this a more varied game in comparison. They are a straight rip off and middle finger to Borderlands. This is because of some factors: The new enemies like the p*ssbots are hilarious. ![]() It still has the humor and satire, and, in my opinion, it might even be better than the main game. Like I said in my Postal 2 review, the game is amazing. It has the same principle, complete tasks throughout the week but every day you face a new “faction” for which you must do some chores. Believe it or not, Postal 2: Paradise Lost is longer and bigger than the original game. ![]() Although the game is basically a recycled version of Postal 2 (the map is exactly the same, but all the areas are named different and have different skins and landscapes), it still has much originality. It picks up where the main game Postal 2 ended and gives a whole new adventure of 5 days with its own achievements and tasks.
